Apex Legends Reveals Major Ranked Changes Coming for Season 18

On July 19, the developers announced upcoming changes to the Ranked system designed to address player complaints and make it more challenging to climb the competitive ladder. Firstly, the awarding of Ladder Points will be nerfed, with higher Ladder penalties for losses at Diamond Tier and above. These changes are designed to reduce the number of players reaching the Masters and even the rankings.

In addition to changes to the Points Ladder, Ranked will be making minor changes to matchmaking.
