Isn’t Sound of Freedom being promoted?

Sound of Freedom has its own dedicated social media pages, as well as many posts from its distributor, Angel Studios. So why are so many fans asking why the film is not being promoted? Well, the issue seems to be aimed at major news outlets, movie theaters and streaming platforms, citing the allegations that they have “dubious” motives for covering up sex trafficking crimes..

As we explained in our article, Disney once had the rights to Sound of Freedom after it took over 21st Century Fox in 2019, only to then shelve the project. The film’s producer, Eduardo Verastegui, previously said that the team went through a long battle to secure a distribution deal, and the project finally landed with Angel Studios, which funded a $5 million crowdfunding from its investors to get Sound of Freedom into theaters.

Now that the film is out, reviews from many outlets have criticized it for being “near QAnon” due to its content, as well as the fact that Tim Ballard and the actor who plays him, Passion of the Christ star Jim Caviezel, have shared their support for the conspiracy theory.

Anyone familiar with QAnon theory will know that supporters believe, at its core, that a cabal of cannibalistic Satanic elitists is operating a child sex trafficking ring, and that this group conspired against Donald Trump during his US presidency.

Allegations within the movement argue that politicians, the mainstream media, and Hollywood are all in cahoots with these Satanic abusers, and push the agenda around the world and protect abusers – and this is where the issue of promoting Sound of Freedom comes in.

Allegations continue to circulate that Disney, Netflix, and Amazon Prime refused to acquire the rights to Sound of Freedom or promote the film’s release in order to prevent the truth about child abuse from spreading to audiences around the globe. They also claim that mainstream media outlets are doing the film for the same reason.

But one Twitter user suggested that the main reason we are not seeing the film on billboards or in official advertising campaigns is due to the fact that it does not have as big a budget as other blockbuster films. “The Sound Of Freedom may tell a very important story, however the reason it’s not being promoted is because it’s from a small studio that doesn’t have money for promotions,” they said. explained. “The only films that get promo are the ones that can afford to pay for it. Stop politicizing everything.”

It is also important to point out that there is no evidence to suggest that promotion is deliberately avoided. In fact, Sound of Freedom seems to be everywhere since it dropped in theaters.

What did Lauren Chen say about Sound of Freedom?

Another person who has gained attention amid the release of Sound of Freedom is Lauren Chen, a controversial YouTuber known for her political and social commentary. This is most likely due to a YouTube video titled “Why the Hollywood Elite Don’t Want You to Watch Sound of Freedom”, which has over 1.2 million views and is an excerpt from the latest episode of Chen’s PBD podcast.

I the clip, she explains why it took so long to get Sound of Freedom off the ground, saying: “Fox did it before the Disney acquisition. So Disney, basically they didn’t release it, they didn’t want to release it; they sold it to this other studio and this studio had to crowdfund to get a theatrical release.

“So the ironic thing about the fact that it beat Indiana Jones, at least for one weekend, is that it could be money going to Disney, but it’s also kind of questionable. Why didn’t Disney want to release this movie? Wasn’t it in line with their branding?”

Chen went on to slam the “liberal” media criticizing the film. “Yes, you should be afraid of your children,” she said. “You should be active in trying to prevent this. Why is indignation morally bad when this is objectively bad?”
