An odd bug in The Last of Us 2 has made half of Lev’s entire body completely disappear for no good reason. There have been plenty of strange Last of Us 2 bugs, with some of them causing huge issues with players’ games. Luckily, this seems to be a more harmless glitch, with no massive implications for the game.

Despite the overall critical acclaim for The Last of Us 2, there’s no denying it has occassional issues with glitches. There just seems to be something about Naughty Dog’s physics engine that causes some interesting problems. One Last of Us 2 player even created an entire bug compilation putting together some of the glitches found since its release. When they’re funny, they can actually add to the experience, but there’s no doubt that game-breaking bugs are frustrating to experience on the rare occasion they do occur.

Redditor vaporex2411 shared the disturbing image, which shows Lev from The Last of Us 2 without any torso at all, and their arms are also completely gone. All that remains is a floating head and a pair of legs, with some weapons for good measure. It’d certainly be interesting to see this variant of Lev attempt to use the weapons in action. Users in the thread found the situation hilarious, with one gamer dropping the dad joke, “he’s been disarmed.”

According to the Redditor, the bug occurred after Lev was shot in the arm, which means it could be an issue with the bandaging animation in the game. Ultimately, there’s no way to know for sure, but it’s not like the animations in The Last of Us 2 haven’t had some serious issues in the past. In fact, one silly Last of Us 2 bug made Joel start dancing, which is quite a bizarre sight to behold. Despite the game’s release over three years ago now, The Last of Us 2 retains a strong player base on PlayStation 4. Because of this, gamers can expect even more weird and wonderful bugs to show up in the game in the future.
